Over the hill and through the woods we enter into Waitsfield Vermont. A charming little town that’s bustling with summer
What Ginger Balch’s yarn shop, In Sheep’s Clothing provides is the opportunity to learn the craft, in an environment that nurtures creativity. She offers skeins of wool, and wool blends as well as some acrylic (for it’s washability) in any color your heart could desire. Her shop is truly a gem in Torrington, located at 10 Water Street. Balch began knitting and crocheting over thirty years ago. Like many, she was taught by older generations. She worked for 11 years in Avon at The Wool Connection – a shop my grandmother brought me too on several occasions in the early 90’s. When they closed, she took the opportunity to open her own shop.
